Christie Prody - Heavy drinking by OJ Simpson girlfriend Christie Prody, aka Christine Prody, caught up with her in the worst way when she got hit by a car and went though the windshield.

Seems Christie Prody was drinking and driving on a Miami freeway when she got two flat tires from swerving off onto the median.

So, drunk Christie opens the door and steps out into traffic. WHAM! Broke both her legs and smashed her head and shoulders through the other car’s windshield.

In case you missed it, Christie Prody was hospitalized on February 11, 2008 after a drunken fall at a gas station left her severely bruised, so badly bruised in fact that police picked up OJ Simpson on suspicion of domestic battery.

According to Florida Highway Patrol Lt. Pat Santangelo, Christie Prody wasseriously injured early Saturday morning after pulling over to an expressway emergency lane because she had two flat tires.

When the 32-year old blonde got out and walked around the car, Santangelo says she was hit by another car with the high-speed impact sending her head and arms through that car’s windshield.

Prody was airlifted to Ryder Trauma Center at Miami’s Jackson Memorial Hospital where Santangelo says she was still being treated Wednesday for broken legs.

Lt. Santangelo says Prody was cited for the accident.

Troopers found an empty bottle of alcohol in her car, but couldn’t say if Prody was intoxicated because she was so messed up they didn’t take a blood alcohol sample.

And that’s the latest chatter on the drinking and driving lesson provided by OJ Simpson’s girlfriend Christie Prody.

It’s been a rough week for O.J. Simpson. First, he gets accused of admitting to murdering his wife. Now, his girlfriend, Christie Prody, has been seriously injured in a car accident.

MIAMI—A highway patrol official says O.J. Simpson’s girlfriend has been seriously injured in a car accident in Miami.

Florida Highway Patrol Lt. Pat Santangelo says Christie Prody was injured early Saturday morning after pulling over to an expressway emergency lane because she had two flat tires.

Wow, what a terrible accident and scene that must have been. I feel terrible for her and we send our deepest condolences.

O.J. Simpson’s girlfriend, Christie Prody, was apparently involved in an accident in which she was hit by a car in Miami, Fla., on Saturday, and is currently being treated for two broken legs, among other injuries.

No word on whether O.J. was driving. Just kidding. Okay not really.

Seriously, if O.J. isn’t beating or actively trying to kill this woman, he’s giving off bad karma or something. This incident comes just months after Christie Prody was badly hurt after she “fell at a gas station.”

Back to the current bizarre injury - Florida cops say she was driving down the highway when she had to pull over due to two flat tires.

Christie Prody got out of her car and, in a brilliant display of human intelligence, tried to cross the Interstate for some unknown reason.

She almost made it.

The 32-year-old alleged Canadian model was, if you haven’t guessed, drilled by an oncoming car.

Her head and arms went through the windshield and she landed inside the car, which ground to a halt with Christie’s legs sticking out.

Cops found empty bottle of vodka in her car, but have not said publicly whether Prody was under the influence.

Prody’s dog was uninjured, and taken to a nearby shelter.

O.J. Simpson, who according to a former manager, confessed to killings of his ex-wife and her friend in 1994, hasn’t commented on Prody’s accident.

He’s awaiting trial on kidnapping and robbery charges in Las Vegas.

Christine Prody, O.J.’s girlfriend, will write a book about her time with O.J. Simpson according to a recently completed public opinion poll.

72% of the respondents who expressed an opinion on the poll which was run on Vizu’s network of entertainment oriented websites, said they thought Christine would write a book. 31.6 percent of the poll respondent’s took a page out of O.J.’s playbook and said, “No Comment.”

The mother of O.J. Simpson’s girlfriend Christie Prody said her daughter is not the type of girl who fools around with the household help.

Defending her 32-year-old daughter against reports that Simpson went ballistic when he learned that Prody supposedly had slept with his gardener, Cathy Bellmore, 54, told the Daily News, “No, that isn’t her. That’s not in her character. She’s never cheated on a boyfriend before.”

The gardener’s wife, Marlene Gonzalez, disagrees.

She has said Simpson showed up at their Miami home on July29, raving about how Prody and her husband, Janos Gonzalez, had had sex earlier that day.

She said she gave the football great the brushoff, but when Simpson saw her husband, Simpson went into a rage and threatened to kill him.

Police came to the home, but no charges were filed, she said.

Bellmore, of Tampa Bay, told The News that Prody and Simpson met in Los Angeles after she waved to him from her car shortly after the shocking murders of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her pal Ron Goldman.

“He walked up to the car, and they exchanged numbers,” said Bellmore. Prody was 21 at the time.

She said Simpson is only the second boyfriend Prody has had.

Before the Heisman Trophy winner, Prody dated a boy for about three years until graduating from high school in suburban Minneapolis, Bellmore said.

“Christie was always a very shy, quiet girl. She gave me absolutely no trouble whatever,” Bellmore said. Mom said it’s heartbreaking to see her daughter caught up in the latest Simpson melodrama.

“She’s a great person who’s involved in a messy situation,” said Bellmore.

Asked why her daughter doesn’t split from Simpson, Bellmore said, “There’s reasons. I just can’t get into it.”

Asked if it was love that kept Prody tied to him, Bellmore said, “I don’t know what it is anymore.”

O.J. SIMPSON’s girlfriend CHRISTIE PRODY was spotted leaving the house in Miami on Wednesday night where she told ET, when asked about O.J., “I just hope what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas” and that “this is really unfair.”

September 22, 2007 — FOR a guy who owes $33 million, O.J. Simpson ain’t doing that bad. He lives in a five-bedroom ranch with the obligatory in-ground pool surrounded by 12-foot-high hedges on a lush two acres.

The house is in the neighborhood of Kendall, one of Miami’s ritziest.

OK, it’s not his old pad in Brentwood, but the old Juice is hardly living on food stamps.

His girlfriend, Christie Prody, drives him around in an elegant, cream Mitsubishi convertible.

This morning, he put up posters on his driveway palm trees reading: “Private property. No trespassers.”

Life goes on - dinner at the Prime 112, the Forge Steak House and the recently opened DeVito’s in South Beach.

But The Office, promoted by Tommy Pouch, formally of Bensonhurst, Brooklyn, doesn’t lay out the welcome mat for Simpson.

“We don’t let him in this club,” Pouch said.

Like the bad old days in Brentwood, his new place has suddenly become the mecca for every wacko this side of the Mason-Dixon line.

But, again, life goes on.

Thirty-three million clams in the hole, and he lives better than you and I ever will.

Could you imagine owing $33 million to the boys downtown? That would get you a studio apartment in Campbell’s funeral home.
